Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Coastal Engineering from an ABET accredited college.
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and registered as an Engineer in Training.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Software.
Ability to work independently, in inclement weather, in remote work environments.
Ability to operate ATV and outboard boats.
Ability to travel overnight, with some extended travel.

3+ Years’ experience in a natural resources design field
Experience creating hydrologic and hydraulic models, and using related engineering software for engineering designs especially focused on coastal restoration projects
On the job experience with topographic surveying using RTK GPS
Knowledge of heavy construction methods, practices, materials, and equipment especially focused in marine environments
Knowledge of methods and techniques of project administration, construction inspection and materials testing.
Demonstrated ability to work with public and private conservation partners.
Demonstrated oral and written interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated and goal oriented.
