Laborer Wireless

At Pro-tel as a Wireless Laborer, you’ll focus on assisting tower technicians and crews with construction, maintenance, and upgrades of wireless communication infrastructure.  

• →Assist in the setup, staging, and breakdown of job sites for wireless tower construction and maintenance.
• →Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• →Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
• →Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• →Support tower climbers by managing rigging ropes, hoisting tools/materials, and monitoring safety.
• →Perform manual labor such as digging, trenching, and site cleanup as needed.
• →Follow all safety procedures.
• →Assist with installation of ground equipment including shelters, cabinets, fencing, and conduit.
• →Travel to various sites as required—overnight travel may be necessary.

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Comfortable with travel and working extended hours when needed.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (or willing to obtain upon hire).   

• 1+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or fire systems OR Technical/Military/Trade School training

Preferred Skills:

• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Prior construction or telecom experience is a plus.
