Job Location (Short): Binghamton, NY

At RJE, as a Pole Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for utility pole inspections and ensuring that they are compliant with Joint Pole procedures and construction standards.

This is a Field position requiring field visits in the greater Binghampton, NY area. You must live in or near the Binghampton, NY area to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

→Inspect utility poles
→Verify with photos and GPS
→Check for BlueBook (clearance) infractions
→Ensure compliance with Joint Pole procedures and Verizon construction standards

To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
An understanding of outside plant construction standards and procedures
A minimum of 2 years of outside plant experience
Basic computer communication skills including Microsoft Excel and Word

Routinely: minimal lifting, driving from location to location
Occasionally: walking in rear easements outside in all weather conditions
