  • Conduct regular field inspections, audits, and surveillance of ongoing construction activities (trenching, directional boring, pole line construction, fiber placement/splicing, conduit installation, restoration) to verify compliance with client standards, drawings, specifications, and codes.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with clients (AT&T, Crown Castle, SCE, Lumen, Verizon), including participation in project meetings, submission of QC reports, and resolution of non-conformance issues.

  • Identify, document, and track quality deficiencies or non-compliance; lead root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Manage and train QC inspectors, field supervisors, and crews on quality standards, inspection techniques, documentation requirements, and client-specific expectations.

  • Oversee documentation and record-keeping, including daily QC reports, inspection logs, as-builts, test results, and punch lists for handover and closeout.

  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing quality metrics (KPI's such as defect rates, rework costs, inspection pass rates) and recommending process enhancements.

  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, safety teams, and subcontractors to integrate quality into planning, scheduling, and execution.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory changes affecting telecom/utility construction.
