Position Summary
As a Precast Detailer, you will play an integral role in the precast development process by creating detailed drawings for the precast manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for checking drawings for accuracy and clarity, upholding drafting standards, and ensuring that the correct details of the project are accounted for and carried through to completion.

Job Description
- Modeling, drafting, and detailing precast buildings from both in-house and external Architects
- Developing fabrication packages including erection drawings, assembly drawings, and shop drawings by 3D modeling and drafting using Revit software
- Provide detailed concepts for structural and connection designs
- Effective communication with management, project managers, and team members
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Available to work Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday
- Minimum 40 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
- Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software
- Deadline-driven with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Proficient in both verbal and written English communication
- Ability to learn and retain new skills in a timely manner
- Ability to overcome challenges while working in a fast-paced environment
- Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta
Assets
- Familiar with construction terms and processes
- Experience working with precast concrete systems
- Strong working knowledge of interpreting and producing shop drawings
