Wildfires are a $20 trillion crisis. Earth Force is building the technology that dramatically increases the pace and scale of fuels reduction and forest thinning—creating resilient forests and protecting people and communities from the devastating effects of wildfire.

We develop integrated computer vision systems—hardware through UI—deployed on forestry machines operating in remote forest environments. Our platform measures trees in real time, automates production reporting, and enables precision silviculture at a scale the industry has never seen. We work primarily with the U.S. Forest Service and their implementation partners under multi-year program agreements.

We’re commercially deployed and approaching scale. What we need now is someone who can own program delivery—making sure that what we promise, we deliver, and that what we deliver earns the trust that keeps our partners coming back.

________________________________________________________________________

We are seeking a Director of Program Success to own the delivery lifecycle for our customer programs—from pre-contract scoping through steady-state operations and expansion.

This is not a traditional customer success role. Our engagements are multi-year contracted programs with long term deliverables. We serve a complex ecosystem of customers and users from the U.S. Forest Service, to forestry project administrators, to machine operators in the woods. The technology is hardware deployed on heavy equipment in remote terrain. Success is measured by delivery against long-term commitments, and consistent improvement in our customer satisfaction over time

You’ll sit at the convergence of three functions that must work together for our customers to succeed: Operations (field delivery and hardware), Product and Engineering (system capability and reliability), and our Partnerships team (commercial commitments and account growth). You’ll be the person who ensures that what we promise is grounded in what we can deliver—and that what we deliver meets the customer’s definition of program success.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks across Operations, Product, and Engineering before they impact customers.

  • Partner with commercial and partnerships teams to ensure customer commitments, timelines, and SLAs align with operational and technical capabilities.

  • Serve as the primary program-level contact for customers and partners, leading engagement cadences, reporting, QBRs, and issue resolution.

  • Build and scale program delivery infrastructure, including playbooks, escalation protocols, reporting frameworks, and commissioning processes.

  • Translate customer contracts into measurable operational plans while coordinating cross-functional execution across field, product, and engineering teams.

  • Help establish and scale Earth Force’s long-term program management function, processes, and operating model as the company grows.

Requirements

  • Strong program delivery ownership and accountability for execution against customer commitments.

  • Experience working directly in the field and resolving operational issues onsite.

  • Comfortable operating in remote, physically demanding environments and around heavy equipment.

  • Proven ability to coordinate across Operations, Product, Engineering, and customer stakeholders.

  • Ability to translate field realities into executive-level communication and operational plans.

  • Experience building or shaping program management, delivery, or customer engagement functions from the ground up.

  • Experience working with federal agencies, public-sector organizations, or highly regulated industries.

  • Experience in forestry, conservation, natural resources, defense, or other heavy-industry environments.

  • Familiarity with organizations such as the U.S. Forest Service (USFS), BLM, DoD, or similar government entities.

  • Experience deploying integrated hardware/software systems in the field (e.g., industrial IoT, mining tech, precision agriculture, energy, environmental monitoring).

  • Background working at early-stage startups and building operational infrastructure from scratch.

  • Spanish language proficiency or additional language skills helpful for field operations.
