At Eatable Adventures, we are looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our Finance team and play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, control, and insight as the business continues to grow.
This is a great opportunity for a finance professional with solid controlling and accounting experience who enjoys working close to the business and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Financial Controller, you will work closely with the CFO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable financial information and strong financial governance across all regions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- →Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with a high level of accuracy.
- →Managing cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- →Monitoring budget vs. actuals and analyzing variances to provide clear insights.
- →Ensuring consistency and integrity of accounting data, accruals, and reconciliations.
- →Supervising and supporting the accounting function, including direct oversight of the accountant.
- →Overseeing employee expense settlements and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- →Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
- →Maintaining relationships with financial institutions, external advisors, and auditors.
- →Contributing to the improvement of financial processes, controls, and reporting tools.
- →Acting as a finance partner for other teams, translating numbers into business insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in controlling, accounting, audit, or similar finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel/Google sheets skills and experience with ERP / financial systems
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders
- Experience in fast-growing, international, or dynamic environments is a plus. Previous experience in controlling multi-entity structures or in external audit is highly valued.
- Language: advanced in English and Spanish; Italian is a plus.
- You’re comfortable owning financial topics end-to-end
- You combine rigor and structure with a business-oriented mindset
- You can clearly explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders
- You’re proactive and always looking for ways to improve processes
- You’re motivated to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility.
