Technical Training Associate - 1st Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Technical Training Associate - 1st Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $29.60 per hour. The hours for this shift are 6:30 am - 2:30 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Why work at Eaton? Below are a few of the outstanding benefits we offer: * Health benefits and vacation time - available to use on day one of your employment! * Paid holidays - up to 12! * Weekly pay * Shift premiums - $2.50/hr for off shifts & Opportunities for overtime. * Career progression opportunities to cross-train in different departments and increase compensation. * Retirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more! ## What you’ll do: The Technical Training Associate is responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering department-specific technical training that supports employee development, operational excellence, and a safe, high-performing workplace. * Partner with the Human Resources Training Coordinator to design and implement impactful new-hire technical training programs, including structured onboarding and hands-on workshops. * Develop and deliver comprehensive technical training for manufacturing and warehouse operations, incorporating classroom instruction, on-the-job training, video learning, certifications, and cross-training opportunities. * Create engaging instructional materials that support key areas such as safety, quality, and equipment operation. * Assess employee competency through evaluations, observations, and feedback, and use insights to drive continuous improvement in training programs. * Collaborate with operations teams to enhance training effectiveness, improve processes, and support new employee success. * Coordinate, deliver, and maintain department-specific training for both full-time and contingent employees. * Work closely with Frontline Leaders and the HR Training Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate completion of training records. * Facilitate training sessions, support special projects, and contribute to internal and external benchmarking initiatives. * Drive continuous improvement and actively support 5S+ practices to promote a Zero Incident Culture. ## Qualifications: Basic Qualifications * High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution * Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or related experience * Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship * No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications * Associate degree in a related field * Experience delivering training in both classroom and hands-on environments * Familiarity with training systems, data tracking, and project coordination * Experience supporting onboarding programs and workforce development initiatives * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools * Background in production or warehouse environments (e.g., switchgear, assembly) * Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus #IND123 #LI-SB2 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
