Operations Project Manager

The Operations Project Manager will support the operation of the AI Governance Council (AIGC) and Enterprise PMO (ePMO) governance/support activities. This role is responsible for coordinating AI governance processes, managing AI use case intake and tracking, facilitating governance reviews, maintaining governance documentation, and supporting operations project management needs. Reports to the Operations Program Manager responsible for execution and operational oversight.
This position is ideal for a highly organized, analytical professional interested in project management, governance, AI enablement, operational excellence, and enterprise transformation.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Coordinate and facilitate AI Governance Council (AIGC) meetings and review sessions.
- →Manage AI use case intake, governance workflows, and submission tracking.
- →Review AI use case submissions for completeness and readiness prior to governance review.
- →Coordinate stakeholder reviews across Technology, Security, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Business teams.
- →Prepare governance agendas, review packets, decision materials, and supporting documentation.
- →Capture meeting outcomes, approvals, action items, risks, and governance decisions.
- →Maintain governance repositories, approval records, decision logs, and audit documentation.
- →Track AI use cases through qualification, review, approval, implementation, and value realization stages.
- →Maintain enterprise inventory of AI use cases, agents, and AI-enabled initiatives.
- →Monitor governance metrics and support governance process improvement activities.
- →Assist with AI governance communications, standards, and operating procedures.
- →Support implementation and adoption of AI governance frameworks and controls.
- →Support enterprise portfolio governance and initiative tracking activities.
- →Maintain project, portfolio, RAID, action, and decision logs.
- →Assist with governance reviews, portfolio meetings, and steering committees.
- →Support portfolio reporting and documentation activities.
- →Coordinate follow-up actions and deliverables.
- →Contribute to PMO process improvement, standardization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- →Support reporting automation and workflow improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Management, Data Analytics, or related field
- 12+ years of experience in Project Management Office (PMO), Project Coordination, Governance, Business Operations, Portfolio Management, Business Analysis, or similar roles preferred.
- Experience supporting governance forums, steering committees, review boards, or executive meetings.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting AI, Generative AI, automation, digital transformation, or technology governance initiatives.
- Experience with governance, risk management, compliance, or operational excellence processes.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, and executive presentations.
- CAPM, Agile, Scrum, Business Analysis, or related certifications are a plus.
