Principal Engineer, Structure (Kuala Lumpur)

We are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer, Bridges to act as the technical authority for structural and bridge engineering works across key infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex designs, influence engineering decisions, and work closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant, and innovative solutions.

• →Act as the technical authority for structural and bridge engineering across the full project lifecycle (from feasibility to construction and completion)
• →Review, approve, and endorse designs, calculations, drawings, and technical submissions
• →Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, Eurocodes, British Standards, and relevant engineering guidelines
• →Lead technical coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and site challenges
• →Oversee project delivery to ensure alignment with scope, quality, timeline, and budget
• →Optimise engineering resources and manage workload distribution across projects
• →Provide expert advice to clients and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• →Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and recommendations
• →Support tenders, proposals, and business development initiatives
• →Drive value engineering, innovation, and sustainable design solutions

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Typically 10+ years of experience in structural and bridge engineering design
• Registered Professional Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia
• Strong experience in bridge design and relevant standards (Eurocodes, British Standards)
• Proficient in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and/or MIDAS Civil
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
