→Implement UEM Edgenta Safety & Health policy, management and operating procedures
→Monitor and promote the Safety awareness in the organizations to comply with the Management System, OHSAS 18001, ISO14001 and ISO9001.
→Carry out HSE Inspection/Audit on respective Section – Inspecting and rectifying any unsafe place of work and Correcting any unsafe practice
→Investigate related to minor incident, first aid near-miss accident, fatality and assist Safety & Health Officer to conduct investigation major accident, dangerous occurrence & occupational poisoning or occupational disease
→Coordinate and conduct HSE training programs and safety induction
→Compile all documentation related to safety regulations. (Eg; JKJ 103, etc) and compiling required info/reports for HSE monthly report.
→Assist in identifying and compiling on Safety Observation (Unsafe Act/Unsafe Condition) thru System Application
→Ensure that the provisions of the Act and any regulations made thereunder are complied with – Checking sub-constructors' work to ensure compliance with the Act and the regulations (PART II - GENERAL PROVISIONS; Regulation 25, Factories and Machinery (Building Operations and Works of Engineering Construction (Safety) Regulations 1986)
→Enforce non-tolerance to SOP/Safety procedures among the staff and sub-contractors.

Requirements

Diploma in Engineering / Occupational Safety and Health Management
Minimum 2 years experience in Occupational Safety and Health Management, Construction and Maintenance Industry (Highway, Road Maintenance, Building, Bridge.)
Registered Site Safety Supervisor with DOSH (Yellow Book)
