You will work closely with academic staff, parents, and school leadership to ensure that physical education aligns with broader educational goals and student development frameworks. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curricula aligned with national and institutional standards. Conduct regular physical training sessions, sports drills, and fitness assessments to monitor student progress. Organize and lead school sports events, inter-house competitions, and annual sports days. Promote a culture of health and fitness through awareness campaigns and student engagement initiatives. Maintain accurate records of student participation, performance, and attendance in physical activities. Ensure safety and compliance with health and safety protocols during all physical activities and sports events. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to integrate physical wellness into the overall student development plan. Provide individualized guidance and support to students with special physical needs or performance goals. Participate in professional development workshops and training to stay current with best practices in physical education. Additional Notes Preference will be given to candidates with experience in coaching sports such as cricket, football, basketball, or athletics. This role is specifically for male candidates due to institutional requirements. Salary range: ₹25,000 – ₹32,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. ${Location} – onsite work required. Requirements Requirements Bachelor of Physical Education (B.Ped) or Master of Physical Education (M.Ped) from a recognized institution. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in teaching physical education in a school or educational setting. Strong knowledge of sports science, fitness training, and child development principles. Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and safe physical activities for diverse age groups. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and parents. Valid certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evening events during sports seasons. Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced educational environment with a commitment to student well-being.
