Job Title: TGT Music Teacher Location: Maval, Lonavala Job Type: Full-time Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and passionate TGT Music Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging music instruction to secondary students, fostering creativity, and nurturing students’ musical abilities while preparing them for performances and assessments. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging music lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and educational standards. Instruction: Teach vocal and/or instrumental music to students in secondary grades, including basic theory, rhythm, and performance techniques. Assessment: Evaluate student progress through practical and theoretical assessments; provide constructive feedback to support improvement. Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and creative classroom environment that encourages participation and expression. Support and Guidance: Identify and nurture students’ musical talents and provide guidance for school events, competitions, and performances. Collaboration: Work with colleagues to support interdisciplinary activities and contribute to cultural programs and school events. Professional Development: Stay updated with current music teaching methods, tools, and trends; participate in workshops and training programs. Communication: Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and performance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music or related field; B.Ed. preferred. Experience: Prior experience teaching music at the school level is highly desirable. Skills: Strong vocal and/or instrumental expertise Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and inspire students Basic knowledge of music technology/tools Certifications: Valid teaching certification as per local regulations.
