Requirements

  • Current AMOD Tool experience.

  • Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering.  Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.  If not credited toward education requirements, completion of military training in a relevant area such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course), Undergraduate Cyber Training (UCT), Network Warfare Bridge Course (NWBC)/Intermediate Network Warfare Training (INWT), Cyber Defense Operations will be considered towards relevant experience requirement (i.e., 20- to 24-week courses will count as 6 months of experience; 10-14 weeks will count as 3 months of experience). In some cases, foreign language proficiency may also be used to satisfy experience requirements; recent Interagency language Roundtable (ILR) scores are required to substantiate your proficiency level. The total of all experience equivalencies is capped at half of the required years of experience.
  • Fully cleared with FS
  • 2 years’ applicable experience with a PhD, OR
  • 3 years’ applicable experience with a master’s degree, OR
  • 5 years’ applicable experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR
  • 7 years’ applicable experience with an associate degree
