Are you an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys leading a team, solving problems, and ensuring every aspect of a property operates at its best? The Hampton Inn by Hilton in Ellsworth is seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily maintenance operations of our hotel.
In this full-time, year-round leadership role, you'll work closely with hotel management to ensure the property remains safe, functional, and welcoming for both guests and team members. From preventative maintenance and facility repairs to supervising maintenance projects and responding to unexpected issues, you'll play an essential role in preserving the high standards our guests expect. Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week. Shifts vary and include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is required to respond to emergency maintenance situations when needed.

~1 min read- →Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the Hampton Inn, ensuring the property remains safe, clean, and operating efficiently.
- →Perform and supervise preventative maintenance throughout guest rooms, public spaces, mechanical areas, and exterior grounds.
- →Assign, prioritize, and monitor maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
- →Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance issues.
- →Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
- →Perform regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- →Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- →Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, equipment records, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- →Monitor inventory levels and order maintenance supplies and equipment as needed.
- →Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, Hilton brand requirements, and company safety policies.
- →Support hotel renovation projects and continuous property improvements.
- →Lead by example while providing guidance, training, and support to maintenance team members.
Requirements

- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working indoors and outdoors.
- Comfortable using computers to complete work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory tracking.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and respond to emergency maintenance situations when necessary.
Success in this role will be measured by the overall condition of the property, preventative maintenance completion, response time to maintenance requests, safety compliance, guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and your ability to lead and support a high-performing maintenance team.
