We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant to support our Courier division, based in Ipswich.
Working primarily within a warehouse environment, you will be responsible for the safe storage, handling, dispatch and delivery of medical items. The role requires a good level of physical fitness, as there will be regular movement, lifting, and manual handling involved.
You will also support wider operational duties, including stock control, deliveries, and assisting the Team Leader where required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Full time role | working 40hr pw | Mon - Fri | Shifts between 7:00am and 5:00pm |

Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing, and preparing medical supplies for distribution
- Delivering supplies across healthcare facilities in a timely and professional manner
- Loading and unloading goods in a safe and efficient manner
- Operating warehouse equipment, including a Work Assist Vehicle (training provided)
- Working at heights of up to 5 metres when required
- Maintaining accurate stock records using computer systems
- Supporting general warehouse organisation and cleanliness
- Assisting the Team Leader in their absence
- Following all health and safety procedures
To be considered, you will need:
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Basic to intermediate computer literacy
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling and warehouse duties
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Willingness to learn and operate machinery, including working at height
- Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
- Ability to work independently and follow processes accurately
- To be trustworthy (will be a keyholder)
