Research Technician B

• →Perform a moderate number of simple or moderate technical procedures;
  • →Mouse husbandry and colony management
  • →Perform simple immunoassays
  • →Sample acquisition on flowcytometer (i.e., change tubes)
  • →Assist with tissue/extraction/preparation for experiments
• →Require occasional guidance;
• →Order routine supplies;
• →Rarely modify technical procedures;
• →Rarely train other lab members;
• →Rarely guide other lab members;
• →A simple / limited understanding of scientific literature and the research goals and rationale is required;
• →Occasionally analyze data;
• →Rarely nterpret data;
• →Rarely make written contributions to papers and grant proposals.

• Required to have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related science or equivalent skills and related experience, and zero to two years of related experience.
• Previous experience from B cell biology lab preferred

The Hägglöf Lab studies how B lymphocytes sense and respond to molecular stresses and insults to determine how B cell coping mechanisms control antibody formation and immune responses in contexts of cancer and vaccination.
