This role supports the Corporate Communications function at Lennox, contributing to both internal and external communication initiatives. The Post Graduate Trainee will assist in executing communication strategies through content creation, social media support, and intranet management, while partnering with HR, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
The role emphasizes strong writing, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business and HR messaging into clear, engaging content, aligned with Lennox’s brand voice. While execution-focused, the trainee is encouraged to bring fresh ideas, creativity, and learning agility to enhance communication impact.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Support creation and distribution of internal communication materials (newsletters, announcements, leadership messages)
- Partner with HR and business teams to communicate initiatives, programs, and updates effectively
- Ensure alignment with brand voice, tone, and communication standards across channels
- Assist in planning and executing employee communication campaigns
- Draft engaging content for corporate social media platforms (LinkedIn, etc.)
- Support social media calendar planning and execution
- Translate campaign themes and company initiatives into platform-relevant content
- Monitor basic performance metrics and recommend improvements
- Write and edit content for emails, intranet posts, presentations, and social platforms
- Simplify complex or technical information into clear, engaging messaging
- Ensure high standards of grammar, clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Support storytelling initiatives for employer branding and corporate narratives
- Maintain and regularly update intranet content
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely publishing of updates and resources
- Improve content structure and usability for better employee experience
- Work closely with HR, leadership, and business teams to gather inputs and develop communication materials
- Support coordination for campaigns, events, and organizational initiatives
- Build working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
- Postgraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and content trends
- Ability to simplify complex information into engaging content
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn
- Adaptability and proactive approach
- Exposure to communications, content writing, or marketing (internship/academic)
- Familiarity with intranet, CMS, or analytics tools is a plus
