~1 min read• Successfully performs the responsibilities of a Senior Medical Assistant.• Leads the day to day work and productivity of patient care staff.• Advise and assist staff on problem solving patient/customer concerns; as well as address issues associated with clinic operations.• Performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol.• Serves as clinical preceptor to enhance training and improve any skill deficiency amongst staff.• Aids management in a variety of areas such as but not limited to scheduling, daily work assignments, hiring, training, employee engagement, performance management, identifying areas for service or operational improvement, and reinforcing established expectations from management, and scheduling.
Requirements
~1 min read- Certification AND 2 years of tenure with OSUP, with one year being in a Senior role OR
- 2 Years of tenure with OSUP, with one year being in a Senior role AND
- A minimum of 7 years prior MA experience, may be inclusive of internal or external experience
- 2 years Certification or 7 years of Medical Assistant Overall experience
- Prior experience working in a preceptor designation preferred.
Preferences: Current BLS Certification. Experience with EMR. Medical Assistant Certification.
