| Position Summary: | This position is located at the Advanced Technology and Training Center (ATTC) in Warner Robins, GA. The position will serve as a principal CNC programmer for processing parts built using advanced manufacturing technologies (such as additive manufacturing, solid-state deposition, directed energy deposition, etc) supporting Air Force sustainment activities. The ideal candidate should be highly experienced in using Mastercam to create CNC programs for machining fixtures, castings and forgings, using 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC equipment. As a highly experienced CNC programmer, this candidate is also responsible for providing guidance on design for manufacturability, equipment and part set up, part processing, and mentoring junior or less skilled technicians, while adhering to lab and equipment guidelines. The majority of work will support government customers, but some industry partners will be supported as well. |
