| Position Summary: |
Engineering the Simulations That Power Tomorrow’s Defense Decisions. Defense System Evaluation Simulation Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and tools that support Department of Defense (DoD) modeling, simulation, analysis, and operational decision-support activities. The position focuses on developing high-performance software solutions for scientific computing, mission analysis, system-level simulations, and data visualization in support of defense customers. The successful candidate will work within multidisciplinary engineering and research teams to translate operational requirements into functional software capabilities. This role requires strong software engineering skills combined with experience in modeling and simulation (M&S), numerical methods, data processing, and defense-related software environments. The work will primarily support government customers, but some commercial enterprises may be supported by this position as well. Please address all qualifications in your cover letter. |

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field. |

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: -Master’s in an engineering discipline, Operational Research or related field. |
