Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating machines, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate for this job will possess a collaborative spirit and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities: 

• Set up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts and products.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as calipers.
• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.
• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances.

Skills:

• Experience with machine operation and basic math skills
• Ability to handle materials and use hand tools effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Knowledge of tooling and equipment used in manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards

This position requires a high level of precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, assembly, and quality control. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are also essential.
