Senior Software Engineer (Telecom)

As a Senior Telecom Engineer, you'll lead the charge in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions that drive our IP/IMS Networks forward. Responsibilities:

• Dive into troubleshooting telephony networks, encompassing various signaling protocols like SIP, SS7, INAP, Diameter, ENUM, and more.
• Take the lead on implementing and testing new platforms and services, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to analyze customer needs and design innovative telecom services.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process and performance improvements, driving continuous enhancement.
• Showcase your software design and development prowess while ensuring 24/7 on-call support.

What You Offer:

• Bring extensive telecom expertise, including in-depth knowledge of signaling protocols like SIP, SS7, INAP, Diameter, ENUM, and more.
• Demonstrate SQL skills, particularly in organizing and optimizing queries in a MySQL/MariaDB environment.
• Leverage your Linux proficiency, including security, troubleshooting, and scripting (Bash), alongside CLI configuration capabilities with VLANs and VPN tunnels.
• Showcase your networking/server management experience, with a focus on Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and Linux server management.
• Flexibility, multitasking ability, and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential.

To be successful in this role:

• Expertise in telecom signaling, coupled with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Quick-thinking problem-solving abilities, with a knack for devising and implementing innovative solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of Linux and server management, alongside networking configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in C/C++ software development and meticulous attention to detail.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science is desirable.
• Bring 10-12 years of telephony networking experience, coupled with 5-7 years each in software development, SQL, and technical support roles.
