Responsibilities

→Daily Work:

→Support in invoicing processes and assist in the implementation of accounts receivable (AR) modules.

→Monthly Work:

→Assist with bank reconciliations and system reconciliations.
→Perform variance analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
→Help with regulatory reporting and calculation of KPIs.

→Yearly Work:

→Assist in the preparation of Lagebericht (management report) and Anhang (notes) in accordance with German GAAP (HGB).

Requirements

Education:

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Project Management (preferably with 2 years left to study).

Skills and Experience:

Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and accounting principles.
Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint skills; familiarity with database queries is a plus.
Previous exposure to ERP systems (preferably ORACLE) and initial project management experience is desirable.

Languages:

Fluent in both English and German (written and spoken). French would be an advantage.
