The Business Process Owner (BPO) – Finance will be a key member of the ERP implementation team, responsible for owning and optimizing finance-related business processes. This role ensures end-to-end process integrity, manages interdependencies across functions, and acts as the primary point of contact for finance processes during the ERP rollout. The BPO will collaborate closely with the CFO, the functional leads, Business Process Analysts (BPAs), and ERP project manager to deliver a successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and related modules such as CE and FSM.
Serve as the single point of contact for end-to-end finance processes (process owner), representing the business and functional requirements.
Define, project manage and maintain standardized and harmonized processes across the organization, aligned to global policies and governance models for business processes.
Drive process optimization initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Oversee change management and ensure communication to impacted stakeholders; approve and prioritize process changes and system enhancements including those related to finance.
Validate and approve functional requirements for finance modules and integrations.
Support testing and deployment of finance-related updates and enhancements.
Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities within (finance) workflows; act as an escalation point for major process deviations or issues.
Collaborate with CFO, functional teams and Business Process Analysts (BPA’s) to ensure Dynamics 365 F&O, FSM and CE support defined finance processes.
Finance Background: Strong understanding of finance processes, accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
ERP Implementation Experience: Proven track record in ERP projects, preferably in a global or multi-entity environment.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Knowledge: Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is highly desirable.
Ability to define and document processes, governance models, and change management plans.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English, both verbal and written; ability to work in a cross-functional environment and manage interdependencies.
High integrity, strong ethical standards, alignment with Envipco’s values (innovation, accountability, respect, etc.).
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
