Area Manager- Janitorial

Full-Time Management Position
2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM,
Including Occassional Weekend Coverage
Starting Salary: $55,000+ per year + Bonuses & Commissions
 

Environment Control is a locally owned commercial cleaning company operated by Tom and Melody Hanson. Since 1972, we have partnered with businesses throughout Wisconsin to provide high-quality cleaning services and exceptional customer care.

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Area Manager to oversee cleaning operations throughout the Waukesha and Milwaukee County areas. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can develop employees, maintain customer relationships, and ensure operational excellence.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly preferred.
 

• →Manage nightly cleaning operations within an assigned territory
• →Conduct quality control inspections and maintain service standards
• →Recruit, train, supervise, and develop employees
• →Manage labor budgets and operational expenses
• →Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• →Resolve service concerns and ensure customer satisfaction
• →Train cleaning staff and provide ongoing coaching
• →Assist with cleaning duties when necessary

Successful candidates will possess:

• Commercial cleaning experience or related management experience
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Budget management experience
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Commitment to quality and operational excellence
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Respect for diverse cultures and backgrounds
• Ability to motivate and develop employees

✔ Bilingual in Spanish and English
✔ Commercial cleaning management experience
✔ Experience leading teams in a service-based industry
 

This is a hands-on management role that requires:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Training employees through direct demonstration
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working in active cleaning environments

• Valid Driver's License
• Driving record insurable under company insurance standards
• Criminal background check
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to complete customer-required drug testing, vaccinations, and annual flu shots (paid by company)

• Starting salary of $55,000+ annually
• Additional annual bonuses and commissions of $1,000–$5,000+
• Monthly labor and performance bonuses
• Company fleet vehicle provided
