We’re seeking a Senior Business Immigration Paralegal to manage high-volume labor certification cases within a fully remote environment. The Senior Business Immigration Paralegal will responsible for managing volume while prioritizing, handling more complex cases and identifying potential issues.  

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume (NIV, PERM and IV) Business Immigration cases end-to-end
  • Ensure effective document intake: i.e., review documents for validity and sufficiently analyze immigration status based on documents provided.
  • Be accountable for the heavy drafting and reviewing of immigration forms and letters based on the analysis of case details, documents, and individual qualifications, as per strict deadlines for a range of NIV, PERM and IV applications (end to end) 
  • Flag any potential/foreseeable case-related issues with Attorney and/or Senior Case Manager, in a timely manner
  • Track case progress within Envoy Global Platform
  • Flag any ideas for process improvement to the appropriate Attorney/Case Manager.
  • Handle client/foreign national communications regarding case processing and status for key accounts/clients, while providing excellent client service.
  • Swiftly draft responses to requests for information from government agencies.
  • Respond to client communication requests – either via client company representatives or directly with the foreign national.

 

  • 5–6+ years of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal drafting employment-based petitions  
  • Experience with drafting petitions for a range of NIV cases: H1B, L, TN, O-1 etc. and/or experience with drafting green card processes (I-140 and AOS), and end-to-end PERM applications preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • A genuine interest in US immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach 
  • Experience handling large caseloads independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and case management systems
  • Experience in communicating directly with (HR staff) and/or foreign nationals regarding case requirements, including work on key accounts/clients
