We’re seeking a Senior Business Immigration Paralegal to manage high-volume labor certification cases within a fully remote environment. The Senior Business Immigration Paralegal will responsible for managing volume while prioritizing, handling more complex cases and identifying potential issues.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage high-volume (NIV, PERM and IV) Business Immigration cases end-to-end
- →Ensure effective document intake: i.e., review documents for validity and sufficiently analyze immigration status based on documents provided.
- →Be accountable for the heavy drafting and reviewing of immigration forms and letters based on the analysis of case details, documents, and individual qualifications, as per strict deadlines for a range of NIV, PERM and IV applications (end to end)
- →Flag any potential/foreseeable case-related issues with Attorney and/or Senior Case Manager, in a timely manner
- →Track case progress within Envoy Global Platform
- →Flag any ideas for process improvement to the appropriate Attorney/Case Manager.
- →Handle client/foreign national communications regarding case processing and status for key accounts/clients, while providing excellent client service.
- →Swiftly draft responses to requests for information from government agencies.
- →Respond to client communication requests – either via client company representatives or directly with the foreign national.
- 5–6+ years of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal drafting employment-based petitions
- Experience with drafting petitions for a range of NIV cases: H1B, L, TN, O-1 etc. and/or experience with drafting green card processes (I-140 and AOS), and end-to-end PERM applications preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- A genuine interest in US immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach
- Experience handling large caseloads independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and case management systems
- Experience in communicating directly with (HR staff) and/or foreign nationals regarding case requirements, including work on key accounts/clients
