Who we are

We are the team that built Fi Money, a financial platform used by 3 million+ people across India. Over six years of building and scaling Fi, we became obsessive about one thing that every engineering organisation struggles with: understanding how their engineering teams actually work. Not vanity metrics. Not activity tracking. Real signal: velocity, delivery health, bottlenecks, the gap between what gets planned and what gets shipped.

We built internal tools to solve this for ourselves. Then we realised the problem was universal, the market was early, and nobody had solved it well for the AI era. So we are building it for everyone. We are now a small, focused team building an engineering intelligence platform for modern engineering organisations — and we are expanding into North America for the first time.

Why this role exists

We have a product. We have a founding team that has built at scale. We have early validation. What we do not have yet is a commercial presence in the United States. This role is about building that — from the ground up, with direct access to founders, in the market where our customers are. The person who takes this role will not inherit a playbook. They will write it.
  • Own all commercial activity in North America.
  • Pipeline generation, discovery, demos, pilots, negotiation, close. No SDR support, no warm inbound to rely on. Build and activate a genuine network of engineering leaders in the SF Bay Area — VP Engineering, CTO, CPTO at growth-stage and scale-up companies.
  • In-person relationships, not just LinkedIn connections. Work directly with our co-founders on deal strategy, pricing, ICP definition, and how we position in the market. Show up in the engineering and developer tooling ecosystem — events, communities, conversations — as someone who understands the space, not just someone selling into it.
  • Feed market intelligence back into the product — what buyers care about, what objections come up, what we should build next. Turn early customers into advocates.
  • The first ten logos matter more than the next hundred.
  • What we are looking for
    5–10 years in B2B SaaS with meaningful experience selling to engineering leadership — VP Eng, CTO, CPTO. Not IT. Not procurement. The people who actually run engineering.

    A genuine network in the US tech ecosystem that you can activate — people who will take your call because they know you and your work, not because you found them on a list.

    You have built commercial motion from scratch before in a market you did not inherit. You know what it takes to generate pipeline when there is nothing to start from and you do not need someone to tell you how.

    Fluency in how engineering teams work. You can have a real conversation about developer productivity, delivery metrics, platform engineering without performing it. Experience in developer tooling, DevOps, infrastructure SaaS, or engineering productivity is a strong plus.

    You have operated in environments under 100 people. You know what ambiguity feels like and you move faster because of it, not despite it.

    AI-native in how you work — you use AI tools to research, personalise, prospect, and operate at a pace that compounds over time. This is how our whole team works.

    You are comfortable working US timings when the deal requires it. You manage your own schedule and your own outcomes.

    You want your name on the GTM strategy.
    You believe engineering intelligence is a real category — early, underserved, and about to matter enormously as AI changes how software gets built — and you want to be in it before it is obvious.
    You want equity that could genuinely matter at the ground floor
    You want founders who have sold from the trenches and will be in deals with you
  • Async intro — exploratory conversation of 30 mins with Business lead, followed by an assignment to work on and 3 rounds of interview with founding team

  • Location
    India-based. Remote. You work US timings as the business and deals require it — you manage your own calendar around outcomes, not office hours.

    A little more about the organisation:

    We are early. There is no US brand recognition yet, no published case studies, and no established sales motion. We are asking you to help build all of that — which is exactly why the equity and the ownership are real.
    If you want safety, a large inbound pipeline, and a mature playbook, we are not the right fit right now and we would rather tell you that upfront than waste both our time.
