The Civil Construction Agent III will oversee the budget, schedule, and safe execution of roadway construction and maintenance projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, managing resources, and maintaining quality throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

 

Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage and supervise the entire lifecycle of roadway construction and maintenance projects, from initial planning through completion.
  • Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within financial parameters.
  • Schedule Coordination: Create, update, and manage construction schedules to ensure timely project completion, coordinating closely with contractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
  • Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections on site to ensure a zero-incident environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities meet the required quality standards, specifications, and design plans, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project stakeholders including engineers, contractors, local government officials, and utility providers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports, project logs, and documentation for budget tracking, project timelines, safety inspections, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to design, materials, or safety during the project lifecycle.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations as well as environmental standards.

 

  • Associate's/Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent amount of related professional experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on roadway projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.

  • Ability to read architectural/construction drawings, specifications, codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Moderate knowledge level of civil construction best practices based on relevant years of experience.
  • Good construction management and organizational skills.
  • Ensure all work complies with EQT Design & Construction Standards and applicable Federal and environmental regulations.
  • Verify field data with EQT internal stakeholders to assist with project plan development.
  • General knowledge of regulatory rules, guidelines, and permit conditions within our area of operation.
  • Ability to efficiently update data related to projects costs and schedule, so reporting insights remain accurate.

 

Must be able to travel up to 60% of the time (based on time of year), to our various sites.

 


Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
