The VP, Operations & Services is a newly created leadership role responsible for bringing together the teams that support our commercial organization and customers across Ad Operations, Traffic Management, Account Management, and Demand Optimization.

This leader will be responsible for creating greater consistency across these teams and how they work together, how they partner with Sales, and how we support our clients from the point a deal is signed through delivery and ongoing account management.

We're looking for someone who has led operations and client service teams within ad tech or digital media and understands both programmatic and direct advertising. This person should be comfortable leading at the executive level while staying close enough to the business to understand what's working, where teams are getting stuck, and what needs to change.

This role will oversee the following functions, either directly or through their respective leaders:

  • Ad Operations — campaign setup, trafficking, creative QA, and delivery across direct and programmatic channels

  • Traffic Management — inventory allocation, pacing, and campaign flow across our platforms and tools

  • Account Management / Client Services — day-to-day client relationships, renewals, and post-sale support across advertisers, agencies, and publisher partners

  • Demand Optimization — yield, pricing, and inventory optimization in support of revenue and partner goals

Responsibilities

~1 min read
  • Bring Ad Ops, Traffic, Account Management, and Demand Optimization together under a more unified operating model

  • Lead and develop the managers responsible for each function, with clear ownership and accountability across teams

  • Establish consistent goals, KPIs, reporting, and escalation processes

  • Create clearer ways of working across teams that have historically operated independently

  • Build an organization that can continue to scale as the business grows

  • Serve as a senior partner to Sales leadership and ensure our operational teams are aligned with commercial priorities

  • Improve the handoff between Sales and post-sale teams so clients have a consistent experience from contract through campaign delivery and ongoing management

  • Work closely with Sales, Product, and Finance on areas including pricing, packaging, inventory, and yield

  • Ensure operational priorities support both revenue growth and the needs of our clients and partners

  • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate campaign trafficking, QA, reporting, and other operational workflows

  • Establish clear service expectations around campaign delivery, issue resolution, and client responsiveness

  • Evaluate processes, systems, and tools and make improvements where they will have the greatest impact

  • Use data and operational metrics to identify issues and drive better decision-making

  • Introduce best practices and identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, leveraging AI and technology to improve efficiency, scalability, and the customer experience.

  • Ensure Account Management and Client Services are delivering a high level of service across the client lifecycle

  • Build stronger connections between operational execution, client satisfaction, retention, and growth

  • Step in as an executive escalation point for strategic accounts and complex operational issues

  • Create a culture where teams take ownership of the client experience rather than simply handing work from one function to another

  • Build, develop, and retain strong leaders and teams across Operations & Services

  • Create clearer accountability, development opportunities, and career paths

  • Encourage collaboration across teams and regions

  • Set clear expectations around performance, ownership, and leadership

  • 10+ years of experience across ad operations, revenue operations, account management, client services, or related functions within ad tech, digital media, or programmatic advertising

  • 5+ years of senior leadership experience, including experience leading managers and multiple functions

  • Strong understanding of programmatic and direct advertising, including ad serving, SSPs/DSPs, trafficking, campaign delivery, and demand/yield optimization

  • Experience bringing together teams or functions that previously operated separately

  • Track record of improving processes, efficiency, and client service within a growing organization

  • Strong commercial mindset and experience partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Finance leaders

  • Comfortable using KPIs and operational data to understand performance and drive decisions

  • Strong communicator who can operate at the executive level while remaining close to the day-to-day business
