This is a 1099 Contract position.

Responsibilities

The Yoga Instructor facilitates yoga groups during scheduled programming times in accordance with patients' physical, social, and emotional needs.

→Plans and facilitates yoga group lessons to support patients in a mental healthcare setting
→Teaches yoga aligned with Health At Every Size (HAES) principles
→Interacts with patients in a trauma-informed manner
→Manages patient sign in sheet for each group
→Reports any concerns to clinical leadership

Requirements

Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance (required)
Knowledge of trauma informed care principles (required)
At least 200 hours of yoga teacher training (required)
Experience teaching yoga to adolescents and adults (required)

Nice to Have

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience teaching yoga in a mental healthcare setting (preferred)
