About this opportunity We are looking for an experienced Cloud RAN Integration Engineer to join our Network C&E Engineering Services Integration team in the USA. In this role, you will analyze solutions and end-to-end delivery processes, drawing on a strong technical understanding of Ericsson CloudRAN products and software. You will develop viable end-to-end solutions for customer projects and collaborate with regional and national teams, including CTO, operations, and onshore/offshore delivery teams, to integrate 4G & 5G, Cloud RAN, and Open RAN technologies with speed, scale, and accuracy. What you will do * Define and scope solution offerings; develop and support innovation and automation initiatives * Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis * Develop technical presentations, solution documents, and Methods of Procedure (MOPs); deliver customer presentations * Provide feedback to R&D teams for product and tool improvements * Oversee end-to-end site delivery, integration, audits, and call testing; troubleshoot complex solutions and present Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to customers as needed * Drive end-to-end automation and identify opportunities for AI/ML integration * Lead resolution of business-critical technical issues and escalations through active communication with all stakeholders * Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing; foster the technical growth of team members * Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends; build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders The skills you bring * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent * Minimum 10 years of proven experience in RAN build projects * At least 5 years of product, R&D, or service delivery experience in RAN, with a focus on CloudRAN, OpenRAN, Cloud Native technologies (Docker and Kubernetes), and SMO * Strong knowledge of Ericsson CloudRAN, Open RAN, and ENM; experience with RFDS, RNDCIQ, and RAN design parameters * Expertise in 4G/5G KPIs and performance metrics, including throughput, latency, and call drop rates * Demonstrated ability to drive complex innovations, develop automation solutions, and reduce operational effort * Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills; ability to collaborate across diverse, cross-functional teams * Flexibility and adaptability to changing work patterns and priorities * Proficiency in written and spoken English * Python or Java coding skills preferred * Experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred Why join Ericsson? Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. Your Financial Security We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson’s full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan. Your Time Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
