About this opportunity
Lab Operations is a unit within Business Area Networks, dedicated to providing world-class lab infrastructure, networks, and hardware services to our R&D organizations. Through our solutions and services, we enable stakeholders to efficiently configure, deploy, and evolve their design and test environments, accelerating innovation and time to market.
We deliver global services from our main Operations sites in Sweden, complemented by a network of Regional Labs around the world, ensuring reliable, high-quality support close to our users wherever they are.
As an ICT Asset Manager, you will contribute to Ericsson’s technology leadership by delivering world-class Asset and Data Management services to our R&D organizations and internal Lab Operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across our global Labs and a wide range of R&D stakeholders as well as with colleague from Hardware Management.
You will play a key role in one or more of the Hardware Management processes we own and drive. These include investment and order management, surplus handling, and hardware transfers between our global Lab locations.
Please note that this is not a managerial position, and that the selected candidate is expected to reside in proximity to our Bangalore site.
We are now recruiting an ICT Asset Manager in Bangalore.
What you will do
* Serve as a gatekeeper for Ericsson hardware assets, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely execution of all activities.
* Depending on the process you work with, update the asset information accurately in our inventory tools such as HW database tool EquipMan, ELCIS and SAP.
* Execute global hardware transfer requests end-to-end, ensuring business alignment, urgency, and full compliance with legal, financial, and internal processes.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying impediments, owning processes and documentation, and contributing to the evolution of global Lab Operations services.
* Demonstrate natural leadership by supporting, guiding, and influencing team members in a global environment.
## You will bring
* A University degree (MSc or BSc) or equivalent.
* Excellent understanding of the asset management area.
* Great understanding of how a data Center and R&D Lab functions.
* Experience from interacting with demanding stakeholders in an international environment.
* Experienced in working with Sourcing and third-party vendors.
* Familiar with finance, customs, taxation instructions as well as trade compliance.
* Solid Commercial acumen.
* Make fact-based decisions.
* Documented analytical capabilities.
* Team player who supports his/her colleagues.
* Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills and ability to build excellent relations.
* Integrity
* Experience in working with a wide range of IT Tools including AI and Agentic AI.
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
