Position Summary:
ErinoakKids is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a position as Speech-Language Therapy Assistant. Under the direction of a Speech Language Pathologist, the Speech-Language Therapy Assistant will assist in providing individual and/or group therapy programs to children.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group therapy to preschoolers in the areas of articulation, motor speech, language, and social communication.
Prepare and coach parents in the implementation of individualized home programs.
Prepare and organize materials and treatment rooms for client programs.
Train clients in the use of various types of communication equipment.
Maintain accurate records of all treatment activities.

Qualifications:

Communicative Disorders Assistant Diploma or equivalent;
Clinical experience working with children with a wide range of speech and language difficulties;
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
Excellent time management proficiency;
An ability to display a high level of initiative;
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting;
Bilingualism is an asset;
Current C.P.R. and First Aid.
