Student Part-time Platform & Data Engineer (all humans)

• Get hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and cloud infrastructure.

• Learn how a centralized data platform operates in a production environment.

• Learn how infrastructure-as-code deployments with Terraform work for Databrick.

• Support the team in operational tasks relating to infrastructure and data quality.

• Take part in onboarding of internal customers.

• Participate in testing and evaluating new Databricks features.

• Support documentation of platform processes and configurations.

• Enrolled in the final phase of a Bachelor's or ongoing Master's program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Intermediate knowledge of Python; basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and cloud networking concepts.

• First experience with Infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Self-organized working style and eagerness to learn.

• Clear verbal and written communication with peers and non peers.

• Collaborative mindset.

• Not mandatory but beneficial: first experience with Databricks, familiarity with Linux/CLI, familiarity with Delta Lake and data warehousing concepts.

• Language skills: English professional proficiency; German is a plus.
