Logistics Specialist

The Logistics Representative is responsible for coordinating daily material movements, ensuring timely and accurate shipments, maintaining inventory flow, and supporting production requirements. This role serves as a key liaison between carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure uninterrupted operations and on time delivery performance.

• →Coordinates inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy of documentation, routing, and carrier scheduling.
• →Collects and analyzes logistics data such as transportation costs, lead times, and inventory levels to support operational decision making.
• →Identifies trends and patterns in logistics data to support demand forecasting and optimize overall supply chain performance.
• →Tracks shipments and proactively resolves delays, discrepancies, or carrier issues.
• →Communicates daily with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment on delivery schedules and logistics priorities.
• →Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to identify logistics improvement opportunities and support implementation of solutions.
• →Supports freight claims, carrier performance reviews, and logistics compliance activities.
• →Coordinates expedited shipments when required to support critical production needs.
• →Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics efficiency, cost reduction, and service reliability.
• →Develops and maintains logistics performance metrics and KPIs to monitor operational effectiveness.
• →Provides support for logistics related projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• 2+ Experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, transportation coordination, or related supply chain roles.
• Knowledge of logistics systems, ERP transactions, TMS software and shipping documentation.
• Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, or warehouse operations.
• Effective communication, proactive initiative, and strong problem‑solving skills.
