The Animal Medical Center of Seattle is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency & ICU team.
AMCS is a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty hospital serving the greater Seattle area with services including Emergency/Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, and Diagnostic Imaging.

Responsibilities
~1 min readIn this role, you will work closely with emergency clinicians and specialists to support a wide range of emergency, critical care, and hospitalized patients. Technicians at AMCS are highly utilized and actively involved in both routine and advanced patient care.

Triage and assessment of incoming emergency patients

Nursing care and continuous monitoring for critically ill and hospitalized patients

Administering medications, fluid therapy, blood products, and advanced treatments
- →
Assisting with emergency procedures, diagnostics, anesthesia, and sedation

Performing laboratory sample collection, testing, and radiology support
- →
Maintaining accurate medical records and patient documentation

Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients throughout the patient stay

Collaborating closely with ER doctors, specialists, and fellow support staff to provide efficient patient care

Supporting a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment environment
We are looking for technicians who are adaptable, team-oriented, and motivated to continue growing their technical and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Active Washington State LVT license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
ER, ICU, or specialty experience preferred
Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment
Interest in continued learning and professional development
While emergency experience is preferred, we are willing to train and invest in the right candidate who is motivated to grow in emergency and specialty medicine.
