FP&A Manager (Everbridge, Inc.; Vienna, VA): The FP&A Manager will work as a member of the Finance Team in a cutting-edge cloud environment that will power our company’s growth. The incumbent must have a well-rounded background in accounting and finance, knowledge of strategy frameworks and processes, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where priorities shift rapidly. Specific responsibilities include: Leading and managing the annual budget and monthly forecast process, including detailed revenue and expense, ARR, billings, and cash flow; Performing monthly financial and operational variance analysis and providing actionable insights to senior management; Serving as a key partner to Executive Leadership to assist in developing a shared understanding of financial and operational performance relative to company strategy and goals; Identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement; Preparing presentations for Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors; Planning, facilitating, and implementing ad hoc analysis or financial models to support decision-making; Developing a strong understanding of the global business and markets in which we participate; and Acting as team lead and mentor 1 or more team individuals on an ongoing basis. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus a minimum of 2 years of pre- or post- Master’s experience in a finance role supporting operating executives at a companywide level. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in a finance role supporting operating executives at a companywide level.
Must have: Experience with financial planning frameworks and processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a proven ability to communicate with and provide meaningful value to all levels of management. A proven ability to learn new analytical tools and skill sets. Solid accounting capabilities: able to understand how business decisions will impact P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Proven track record of teaching and mentoring analysts.
Salary: $146,857 to $170,000 per year
