The Healthcare Analyst at Evergreen Nephrology reports to the Biomedical Informatics Manager and plays a critical role in transforming complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights. Working across claims, clinical, and member data domains, this individual serves as a key contributor to the analytical work that informs operational and clinical decision-making across the organization. You will play a meaningful part in validating data quality to ensure the integrity of data outputs that the organization relies on. You will build a strong foundation in how data flows through the organization and how it is used to drive decision-making. Day to day, you will support ad hoc analytical deep dives, surfacing insights that inform the broader modeling, reporting, and analytical work produced by the team. This is a role where your contributions will be visible, and your growth will be intentional. You will build hands-on experience in real-world healthcare data and develop a deep understanding of what it means to do analytical work that drives meaningful change in patient care.
While this position is fully remote, you must be able to work 8:30am – 5pm in the Central time zone.
Responsibilities

- →Partner with analysts to evaluate data needs and define analytical approaches for assigned projects.
- →Contribute to analyses that inform operational and clinical decision-making.
- →Work with relational databases to query, wrangle, and analyze on complex datasets – including (but not limited to) claims, clinical, and member data.
- →Support the development of descriptive, classification, and predictive algorithms to support clinical operations workflows.
- →Bring curiosity and analytical thoroughness to ongoing team efforts and process improvement initiatives.
- →Other duties are consistent with this role, as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- 2+ years of relevant experience, including foundational experience with analytical tools through coursework, projects, or internships
- Experience working with SQL and Python
- Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically and approach problems in a structured, logical manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, and primarily remote environment.
- Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite of products including Outlook and Teams
- Able to work effectively in a primarily remote environment:
- Home internet must support a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. Cable, Fiber, or DSL connections hardwired to the internet device are recommended
- Evergreen will provide remote employees with telephony applications and equipment to meet the business requirements for their role
- Employees must work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
- Master’s Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
What We Offer
~1 min readThe base salary pay range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 annually. Exact pay is determined based on experience, education, and other role-specific factors.
This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
