What We Offer

✓Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

✓Contribute to the application of Human Resources policies and procedures

✓Support with the recruitment of hourly positions for the mine operations and maintenance teams

✓Sort and categorize applications, conduct pre-screens and schedule interviews

✓Assist with completion of pre-employment requirements, including reference checks, drug testing, offer letters and support with onboarding process

✓Assist with career fairs/info sessions

✓Collaborate on research and report writing for the human resources department

✓Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business

✓Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources

✓A valid Class 5 Driver's License or extra-provincial equivalent, without learner's restrictions is preferred

✓Motivated self-starter; able to prioritize work under pressure and show great attention to detail while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism

✓Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to multidisciplinary teams

✓Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)

✓Experience with HR programs/software would be an asset

✓Receive financial assistance for travel expenses and co-op fees

✓Acquire hands-on experience applying academic knowledge to real-world mining operations, fostering the development of technical skills
