Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driving Instructor to join our team! Excel Driver Services is looking to add qualified instructional staff to our Denver, CO location. There is no freight, you will be home every night and, have assigned equipment. There will be no chaining up, no drop and hook, no tarping and, no ship and receive. We want qualified, personable people who want to train the next generation and work with our team to deliver quality and integrity to all students. A minimum five years of experience Class A CDL with a valid/current CDL license. No DUI/DWIs permitted. No chargeable accidents or reckless driving citations in the past five (5) years, with no more than one (1) in the past ten (10) years. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in working with students and have an ability to work with adult learners in a team environment. Must have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities
• Lead a classroom of students learning driving safety
• Get behind the wheel with students and help them implement their knowledge in a safe and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with students, and provide additional recommendations on future driving practices

Qualifications
• Valid CDL Class A license and clean driving record required
• Previous experience as a driving instructor desired
• Strong understanding of driving rules and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
