Who We Need

We are looking for a designer that can help us design full building-services systems — plumbing, ventilation, AC, lighting, fire alarm — for hotels, high-rise apartments, and commercial offices across NI and London. 

What You'll Do

• Produce detailed MEP drawings in AutoCAD and Revit — ductwork, soil pipes, ventilation, AC, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate services within tight spaces (e.g. above-ceiling voids in hotels, where vents, pipes, and cables all have to fit and connect cleanly).
• Work to set heights, clearances, and connection requirements with a high standard of accuracy.
• Collaborate remotely with the UK design team, taking marked-up direction and turning it into clean, build-ready drawings.
• (Designer track) Design compliant MEP systems and make technical decisions in line with UK building regulations.
  

What You'll Need

• UK buildings regulation knowledge
• AutoCAD AND Revit — both, and genuine 2D and 3D capability.
• MEP drawing experience — HVAC, plumbing/soil, ventilation, AC, lighting, fire alarm.
• Mid or senior level — 2+ yrs minimum of experience
• Residential and/or commercial building projects — apartments, hotels, offices.
• Communication skills — must integrate with and communicate clearly with the UK team remotely. Caldwell screens for personality/comms fit first, before technical.

Nice-to-Haves

• Dialux and ProDesign experience
• Navisworks / full Autodesk AEC suite.
• High-rise residential, hotel, or office project history specifically
