Recovery Operator

As the capital’s largest bus operator, with over 2,500 vehicles across 17 locations, we play a vital role in millions of journeys every day. We are now expanding our in-house engineering team and introducing an exciting new opportunity: Heavy Vehicle Recovery Operator.

This is your chance to step into a high-impact, frontline role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the one who gets London moving again — safely, quickly, and efficiently.

📍 Based at Camberwell Garage💷 £839.02 per week

• Proven experience operating heavy recovery vehicles (HGV/PSV recovery background desirable)
• A valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV licence with Driver CPC
• Strong knowledge of recovery techniques, load security, and roadside safety procedures
• Ability to remain calm and resourceful under pressure, solving problems independently
• A professional, customer-focused approach when representing Go-Ahead London
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
