As a Modeler,  you will execute poly modeling skills for everything from creating environments,  vehicles, props, and characters to be used in production with an emphasis on photo-realism, accuracy, detail, and function. Working with the in-house modeling pipeline, you will need to solve technical issues independently.
  • Create high-quality models and UVs for use in production; implement improvements/changes based on review feedback and Supervisor/Lead  direction
  • Design and implement high level conceptual to practical modeling
  • Proactively recommend ongoing pipeline improvements
  • Identify potential issues, provide solutions, and escalate as needed
  • Maintain a positive relationship with all stakeholder departments
  • Work within the defined pipeline
  • Ensure  continuity and support other asset departments such as Texture, Surfacing/Lookdev, Generalist, and Rigging
  • Minimum three (3) years of VFX experience modeling photorealistic assets for live-action feature films
  • Expert in Maya; could teach a class on how to use it and troubleshoot
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to take design from ambiguous to full design implementation
  • Strong understanding of rigging process and displacement map workflow
  • Eye for detail and able to QA own work to ensure the highest quality before handing off assets
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; experience working under tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player who is able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent knowledge of Zbrush and/or Mudbox
  • Experience working on hard surface and organic modeling is a plus
  • Mari and Substance Painter knowledge is a plus

    모델러는 사실성 , 정확성, 세부 묘사, 기능성을 중시하며 폴리 모델링 기술을 활용하여 환경, 차량, 소품, 캐릭터등 제작에 필요한 다양한 요소를 제작합니다. 사내 모델링 파이프라인을 효과적으로 활용하고, 기술적 문제를 독립적으로 해결할 수 있는 능력이 필요합니다.
  • 생산에 사용될 고품질의 모델 및 UV를 제작하고, 리뷰 피드백 및 슈퍼바이저/리드의 지시에 따라 수정 및 개선 사항을 반영합니다.
  • 추상적인 컨셉 설계부터 실무 모델링까지 구현합니다.
  • 주도적으로 진행중인  파이프라인의 개선 사항을 제안합니다. 
  • 잠재적인 문제점을 확인하고 해결책을 제시하며 필요한 사항을 전달합니다. 
  • 관련 부서와 긍정적인 관계를 유지합니다.
  • 규정된 파이프 라인 내에서 작업합니다. 
  • Texture, Surfacing/Lookdev, Generalist, Rigging 등 제작 부서들과의 연계성을 확보하고 돕습니다
  • 최소 3년 이상의 VFX 경험을 가지고 있으며 실사판 장편 영화용 사실적인 에셋 모델링에 능숙한 분
  • Maya에 대한 전문 지식이 있으며, 강의를 진행 할 수 있을 정도로 능숙하고 문제 해결 능력이 뛰어난 분
  • 우수한 기술적 문제 해결 능력과 문제 해결 능력을 갖춘 분
  • 정리되지 않은 불분명한 디자인을 완전한 디자인으로 구현, 전환할 수 있는 능력
  • 리깅 프로세스와 displacement map 워크플로우에 대한  탄탄한 이해능력
  • 세부사항을 잘 살피고, 에셋을 인계하기 전에 스스로 검토하여 최고의 품질을 보장할 수 있는분
  • 우수한 시간관리와 우선순위 설정 능력 : 촉박한 마감일 아래에서 작업한 경험이 있으신 분
  • 강력한 구술 및 서면 커뮤니케이션 능력
  • 최소한의 감독으로 독립적으로 작업할 수 있는 팀 플레이어
