Assistant or Associate Professor / Pediatric Cardiologist - Electrophysiologist

The full-time annual base salary range for this position is:Assistant Professor rank: $314,768 - $334,132; Associate Professor rank: $374,059 - $397,071 Commensurate with experience and rank.  Base pay does not include incentive pay, hiring bonuses, or additional benefits such as retirement contributions.

 

 

• →Provide outpatient and inpatient care for children with rhythm disorders, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of arrhythmias.
• →Perform invasive electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implantations
• →Interpret non-invasive studies such as ECGs, Holter monitors, Zio studies, event monitors, and exercise testing.
• →Participate in call coverage and consults for electrophysiology and general cardiology.

• →Teach and mentor medical students, pediatric residents, and pediatric cardiology fellows.
• →Participate in academic activities including case conferences, grand rounds, and CME events.
• →Engage in clinical or translational research, quality improvement projects, and scholarly work aligned with personal and institutional goals.

• Collaborate with colleagues in cardiology, cardiac surgery, adult electrophysiology, and genetics to further develop the pediatric electrophysiology program.
• Contribute to outreach and regional partnerships to expand access to pediatric arrhythmia care across Oregon and surrounding states.

• MD or DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric cardiology fellowship.
• Additional fellowship training in pediatric electrophysiology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Electrophysiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Oregon.

• Experience in catheter ablation, advanced device management, 3D mapping systems, and genetic arrhythmia syndromes.
• Academic track record with publications or contributions to clinical research.
