What We Offer

Direct Clinical (80%): The SLP in this position will provide Speech-Language Pathology diagnostic evaluation, treatment and consultative services for patients of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center, participating in many of CDRC’s interdisciplinary clinics. The SLP will be responsible for evaluation, team collaboration, and family feedback. The SLP will participate in follow-up treatment of CDRC clinic patients. The incumbent will also participate in clinical education of practicum students, interns, and fellows completing training in the CDRC programs.
Indirect Clinical (20%): The SLP in this position ensures timely completion of clinical documentation and responsiveness to clinical requests. The SLP participates in other activities appropriate to the discipline, and consistent with the mission and goals of CDRC and OHSU. Such activities include, but are not limited to, clinical documentation, consultation and technical assistance to families, community agencies and providers, serving on agency and university committees, and participation in departmental meetings and in-service presentations. Additional activities may include engaging in research appropriate to Speech-Language Pathology, including cooperative joint research with other faculty.
Requirements
~1 min read- The Speech-Language Pathologist will hold a minimum of a master’s degree in SLP.
- Minimum of 5 years pediatric clinical experience serving children with complex conditions, with a specific interest and focus on children with cleft palate and craniofacial disorders, feeding/swallowing disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Must hold current CCC/SLP and hold or be eligible for Oregon SLP licensure.
- Applicants with experience in bilingualism and/or assistive technology are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements
~1 min read- Doctoral degree preferred.
- Preference for an SLP with experience working on interdisciplinary teams, utilizing a family-centered model of care.
