Special Educator EI--Riverhead - Center Based

• Location: Riverhead Facility, Suffolk County NY 
• Description: Social Groups, ABA Group Sessions, or Individual sessions
• Status: Part- Time, Fee for Service , Expected start date Summer 2026
• Hours: Day, opportunities available
• Early Intervention services operate 365 days a year and can be flexibly scheduled
•  Compensation:
• EI Compensation: $50-$80/ hour

**Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition, the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**

• →Work with students who are in Early Intervention providing individualized lessons which target goals from the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). 
• →Develop creative and multi-sensory lessons based on the IFSP goals and report progress toward these goals. 
• →Collect meaningful information on IFSP goals and report quarterly on child’s progress with IFSP goals. 
• →Ongoing communication with supervisors and multidisciplinary team. 
• →Maintain accurate attendance and submit electronic billing daily. 
• →Attend professional development trainings to maintain best practice approach and continue personal development. 
• →Maintain professionalism with parents, teachers, and other professionals. 
• →Attend IFSP meetings.

• NYS Students with Disabilities B-Grade 2 Certification 
• Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families preferred 
• Bilingual preferred
