At Fanatics, our Mergers and Acquisitions team plays an integral role in executing Fanatics’ mission and vision. This team is known for making cutting edge, innovative and disrupting deals that will reinvent the way fans access and engage with their favorite sports.
The role as a Vice President on the Mergers & Acquisitions team at Fanatics is an exciting opportunity to be a strategic partner and deal maker. This role provides a fast paced and autonomous environment for you to leverage your expertise and help steer the team to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the process to identify, evaluate and negotiate potential investments and acquisitions for the Fanatics parent as well as it operating companies including Fanatics Commerce, Collectibles, and Betting & Gaming.
- →Source potential deals and develop a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- →Prioritize and evaluate potential opportunities using a robust, efficient, and fact-based process, which includes a rigorous diligence process that will promote quality acquisition and investment ideas to the management team.
- →Partner with business leaders before, during and after the M&A process, to ensure the deals make strategic sense, the return on investment (ROI) is thoroughly tested and analyzed, the target company fits with the forward-looking business plan, and the acquisition is integrated smoothly and fully optimized
- 15 years of experience in transaction development and execution in corporate development or M&A
- Experience in private equity and investment banking also relevant, as extensive and sophisticated deal structuring experience is required
- Deep level of comfort and familiarity around the industries Fanatics is involved in
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, quantitative, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.

Achieving our goals requires strong collaboration and partnership between our teams and our internal stakeholders. To best support this, the person who accepts this role is expected to be on site, in office four days per week. To provide our employees with flexibility, we offer a unique benefit where employees at Fanatics' corporate entity can work remotely for up to four weeks per year, which can be taken in daily or weekly increments.
The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
