We are seeking a DevSecOps / Data Platform Engineer to support the management, optimization, and scaling of enterprise data platforms and infrastructure. This role focuses on administering data clusters such as Elasticsearch and MongoDB, supporting development teams, and implementing automation and cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in system administration, DevSecOps, and data platform engineering, with hands-on experience managing distributed data systems and supporting modern development environments.

Manage, maintain, and optimize distributed data platforms such as Elasticsearch clusters and MongoDB replica sets
Support software development teams by providing infrastructure, troubleshooting, and platform support
Monitor system performance and implement improvements for scalability, reliability, and efficiency
Design and implement cluster configurations, including replication, sharding, and scaling strategies
Optimize Elasticsearch index design and query performance
Perform data migrations and support changes to cluster architecture and sharding strategies
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and Python
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Work with JSON-based data structures and support data processing workflows
Support cloud-based infrastructure and automation using tools such as CloudFormation
Contribute to system security and compliance efforts, including support for A&A processes
