THE ROLE Porto or Lisbon based
As a Product Manager in the Discovery and Consideration Product team at Farfetch, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution for our Discovery Products (such as Ranking or Recommendations) and core onsite/in-app customer experiences. Your mission will be to drive discovery, engagement, and conversion by leveraging data and user behavior insights to deliver personalized product recommendations and a seamless user journey.

  • Own the Product Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Recommendation Products, from discovery and ideation to launch and iteration.

  • Define Strategy & Roadmap: Translate executive-level business goals into a clear, actionable product strategy and a prioritized roadmap.

  • Drive Data-Based Evolution: Proactively make new proposals to evolve and fix your products, maintaining a high degree of autonomy to drive product initiatives and new solutions.

  • Define Success Metrics: Define and track metrics to measure the effectiveness and identify the leading indicators that prove we are meeting our desired outcomes and business impact.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the central point of alignment across key stakeholders including Marketing, Commercial, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and other business teams. Keep them engaged and informed.

  • Communicate and Influence: Articulate product strategy, plans, benefits, and results with clarity to a wide range of audiences, influencing change in stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

  • Manage Execution: Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing effectively to maximize impact and ensure timely delivery.

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in e-commerce, Discovery, or Recommendation Systems.

  • Autonomy & Proactiveness: A proactive self-starter with a high level of autonomy, ready to drive product evolution and not overly dependent on engineering for initial concept development and proposal generation.

  • Speed & Pace: Able to easily build relationships and respond to work with urgency, demonstrating quickness in thinking and acting, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

  • Data Driven: Highly data-driven, experienced in defining metrics to measure effectiveness, and interested in using data-oriented solutions to solve business problems.

  • Technical Acumen: Technical background or proven experience working closely with technical teams (Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics).

  • Communication: Exceptional communicator with strong storytelling skills, comfortable engaging with all levels of the organization.
